RULES OF TOUR "FASTEST WALKTHROUGH THE MAP"
"TOURNAMENT OF THE CENTURY"

1. Tour carry out on English version "HoMM 2: Price of Loyalty" with patch v.2.1; or English version "HoMM 2 Gold", already include this patch.

2. 3 players need from each team. (The player's list will have to be send to organizators before begin tournament by the team's captain).

3. All players separate to 3 groups. There is 1 player from team in each group.

4. The start save send to each group. Target - to win in this game any possible method for minimal walkthough time (calculate in game days).

5. Player must save at the end of game before last combat and send this save to organizators at proper time. Else save will not examine.

6. There is 2 weeks real time for play start save.

7. The Winner will be a player who win for minimal days in this start save. Players with equal results share prize place.

8. All players must save everyday (before day start) + save before every combat and store it up to end of tournament.

9. Use cheats, bugs, hack saves and manipulate computer's players through multyplayer is strongly prohibited, break this rules vindicate by loss in tournament. The Referees may demand saves and play decription if will be any suspicion to break the rules of tournament.

10. Additional rules.
Prohibited:
- use weeks and months with additional growth.
- hire Ghost.
- hire defeated computer's heroes.
- visit graveyards.
- walk dismissed, retreated or surrendered hero after hire in same day.

11. ORGANIZATORS MAY TO CHANGE THIS RULES ON THEIR JUDGEMENT. But players will be notified before they kick off.

RULES OF COMMAND TOUR
"TOURNAMENT OF THE CENTURY"

1. Tour carry out on English version "HoMM 2: Price of Loyalty" with patch v.2.1; or English version "HoMM 2 Gold", already include this patch.

2. 3 players need from each team. (The player's list will have to be send to organizators before begin tournament by the team's captain).

3. Combats between teams carry out on a round robin. There is 2 weeks real time for every combat.

4. Confronting teams receive 3 different start saves from the same map. Start nations must be commutated.

5. Start saves have distribute between players by captain. They have to gather maximum army for limit time (usialy 29 game days). Their army will be unify into team's army.

6. There is 2 weeks real time for play start save. Player must save at the end of time limit and send this save to organizators at proper time. Else save will not examine.

7. All players must save everyday (before day start) + save before every combat and store it up to end of tournament.

10. The final army are formed from players' armies. Players must put same units in army to same place. Every displace units may be dismissed by organizators. In unify saves the same units are added, but artefacts, scrolls and other do not redistribute between heroes. Organizators create the Arena (special save) where will be combat with unified armes.

11. The winner defined in Arena's combat by Referees. In case disagreed with this result team's captains appoint player who will be fight online unified army at Arena. The winner will be defined by result of this combat.

А на русском можно правила издать? не то чтобы проблемы с английским, просто внапряг читать чужие буквы/слова

"Tournament of the Century"
The rules of on-line tour HMM2.

1. The tour is being held using "HoMM 2: Price of Loyality" or "HoMM2: Gold".

2. Every team consists of 3 players or less. (The list of players must be submitted to the Council by the Team-captains before the tour starts.) Every player will fight one of the players from opposing teams on-line. If some team consists of less than 3 players some of them should play 2 games in tour(may be 3, if only one player in team).

3. Every game has a limit of 2 weeks. The deadline is set, after which the game is considered not held, and no points are adjudged.

4. Recommended game difficulty - Expert. If both players want to change difficulty they can do it.

5. Rules limitations:
Using any bugs of the game, even not intentionally, is prohibited. If you are unsure if some specific action uses some bug, you should ask the Council. Using game bugs is punished by loss of the game.

6. Player, who lost all his towns and armies, loses. If player lost all his towns and did not reclaim any in 7 days, he (she) loses.

7. Map choice. The following maps will be used for the on-line tour:
Beltway
Spellcasters(original)
Spellbound
7lakes
The Isle

8. The map is chosen by subsequent removal of maps from the list by players - one after another. The player, which chooses the map (removes second last map, so there is only one left), has the right to choose starting alignment.

9. Alignment choice. Prior to choosing alignment, each player can ban one of the alignments, if he (she) wishes to do so. After than neither player nor his opponent can choose this alignment. After this optional alignment ban the player who has the right to choose his alignment, can do that. He (she) also chooses the starting position. His (her) opponent gets the right to make the first move and to choose his (her) alignment. He (she) can choose the same alignment, as the opponent has.

10. In battles between players there can be stalemate situation. Example - one player has 10 sprites, the other has 100 ogres. Sprites can fly over the battlefield and ogres have no chance to catch them up. In such situations the attacker must flee or surrender.

11. THE COUNCIL HAS THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE RULES AT ANY TIME. In this case players must be informed before the game has started. During the game rules can not be altered.

Tournament of the century
HoMM 2 Arena battle, using the army gathered within a limited period of time (scheme of HeroesLeague, - offline)

1. The games are held using the "HoMM2: Price of Loyality 2.1" or HoMM2 Gold.

2. The regulations and the time schedule of the tours will be provided in the separate documents.

3. The committee of organizers and judges sends the initial saves to the contestants in accordance with the schedule of the tours; the schedule has the information about the time frames of the tours and about the players. The cover note has the time limits information, for example 45 game days (turns). i.e. up to the 3rd day of the 3rd week of the 2nd months inclusive. The player should send the letter notifying the fact that he/she has received the initial save in the run 2 days.

4. Each player sends the final save to the committee of organizers and judges before the end of the tour. The deadline for sending the saves - 12-00 MET (middle European time) of the last day of the tour. Should the player fail to send the save or be late to do it he/she is considered to loose the game. The organizers should notify the players on reception of the final save.

5. It is forbidden to use cheats, game bugs, crack saves or manipulate the computer players in the hot-seat mode when playing the game for the tournament. The one who uses the forbidden tricks will be disqualified and kicked out of the competition. It is allowed to use standard cheat codes to explore the save in the beginning. But after the exploration the player must reload the start save and begin the game. The list of bugs and cheats forbidden to use is given below.

6. Passage limitation
6.1 It is imposible to break open or to correct saves.
6.2 It is imposible to use any cheat codes in "clean" passage, result of which you send.
6.3 It is imposible to use the following bugs and game possibilities:
- use weeks and months with additional growth.
- hire Ghost.
- hire defeated computer's heroes.
- visit graveyards.
- walk dismissed, retreated or surrendered hero after hire in same day.
6.4 If "Week +5 any monster" or "Month double monster" take place player have to replay the end of the previous week/month. Infringement of this rule is punished by loss of the game.
6.5 Other limitations of the concrete map look in map descriptions.
6.6 Rule of Ultimate Artifact(UA) dig out. UA can be dig out ONLY if ALL obelisks have been visited. After the UA has been dug out the game is to be saved and sent together with final save.
6.7 Both players can change some limitations of 6.3-6.6 or enter additional conditions of passage. They have to notify judges about their agreement.

7. Rules of making a final save:
7.1. The final save should have just one Hero on the adventure map, the main Hero of the player. All the other heroes should be either dismissed or hidden in the castles. If the map has two or more Heroes present the organizers reserve the right to choose the one for the arena battle at discretion. The Hero a player has in the start save can not be the Hero of the player's final save.
7.2. The monsters are dispatched and the Hero is equipped with artifacts by the player in the final save. Positions of monsters and redistribution of artifacts is not performed when the Hero is placed on the Arena. Before the battle the player should visit the objects granting temporal bonuses and ensure the manna reserve. The Hero put on the Arena will have the manna reserve and the moral and luck figures as he had in the final save of the player.
7.3. The final save should be named by the player after a certain scheme:
NameteamNumberplayer_Numbertour_Nickname.gm1, where:
Nameteam - name of the team;
Numberplayer - number of the player as in the Teamlist for a tour
Numbertour - number of the tour as in the tournament calendar
For example:
Final Save for N3 player from AC-team in the first tour is
AC-team3_1tour_MickeyMaus.gm1
7.4. It is advisable that the players send their recommendations on making the final battle together with the final save. This will make it easier for the organizers to find the winner, as at the first glance they might not be able to see what the player has in stock and how he thought the battle would go.
7.5. If the game time limit is exceeded the game is considered to be lost. (for example, the player used 60 game days instead of 45 stated by the instructions).
7.6. If the final save of a player cannot be opened by PoL 2.1. version the game is considered to be lost. Attention! The save can refuse to open due to the e-mailing problems, like incomplete send. Before notifying the player on the save reception the judges must check if the save can be opened.
7.7. Attention! The Tournament of the Century regulations stipulates that a player should make saves of each game day and store them at his/her computer!!! It is like writing down each turn in chess games at the serious tournaments. The saves must be presented on request of the opponent and judges. Misconnections in the game day saves will be considered to be cheating and the player will loose the game!! The saves should be stored for 16 days after the results of the tour have been summed up.

8. The Arena is an S map with only three players on it: red, blue and green. The red is the color of the offending player, blue is the one of the defending player. Who is offending and who is defending is stipulated according to the position of the players in the tournament. The green is the color of the judge. It is not recommended to attack the judge J.

9. The final battle is carried out by the referees chosen from expert players with good reputation.

10. Those specially assigned players then carry out an odd number of battles (five is better. Odd number of battles because random terms of the battle, such as "blind" due to unicorns, magic resist and so on) using one and the same save file on Arena in hot seat mode (single player mode is not allowed) doing the strongest moves for both sides. Then they send the results to the referee whose responsibility to generalize the results and to appoint the winner. The winner is the one having over 50% of won battles in all the matches played by the specially assigned players. The results of these hot seat battles need to be sent to the referee not later than 2 days after last day of the tour. Both players who sent the saves also play final battle and sent the results. In case the rivals are evidently not equal they can name the winner themselves without third parties help.

11. THE COUNCIL HAS THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE RULES AT ANY TIME. In this case players must be informed before the game has started. During the game rules can not be altered.
